[Vtr-tac] Promotional Materials from TPWD

Please review and distribute as appropriate.

House Bill 1301, enacted by the 82nd Texas Legislature, added Transportation Code, Sec. 502.1747, Voluntary Contributions to Parks and Wildlife Department.  This addition allows the county tax assessor-collector to collect a voluntary donation of $5 or more at the time of registration of all vehicles.  The donation will be used for the operation and maintenance of state parks, historic sites, or natural areas by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD).
 
Programming changes to accept donations for TPWD were implemented October 24, 2011, and information about processing the donation in the Registration and Title System (RTS) can be found in the RTS 6.8.1 Release Notes.
 
To help make your customers aware of this opportunity, TPWD has produced promotional materials for your offices.  You may choose to order posters, table tents and/or counter mats, all of which will be shipped directly to the address you designate.  Attachment #1 shows the available TPWD materials.
 
To order TPWD donation promotional materials, please complete the attached spreadsheet with your county name, the number of items requested, and a contact name, phone number, and address to receive the shipments.  Please send the completed spreadsheet to Darcy Bontempo with TPWD at darcy.bontempo at tpwd.state.tx.us. by February 8, 2012.    
 
TPWD has a limited supply of each item and may not have sufficient copies to meet all of your needs, but will do their best to fulfill each request based on their inventory.
