[Vtr-tac] GMAC Name Change to Ally

[Electronic Distribution of VTR Information to Texas Counties]

Please review and distribute as appropriate.  

We have been notified by GMAC Financial Services that as of August 23,
2010, GMAC will change its name to Ally.  A copy of GMAC’s announcement
and the Certificate of Amendment certifying this change are attached. 
The purpose of this notice is to advise you that this lienholder may be
listed by any of the following acceptable names:  
 
    GMAC                            
    Ally Financial 
    GMAC Inc
    Ally Bank
    GMACFS
    Ally Capital
    GMAC Financial Services
 
No changes are required to any pending transactions, titles or Form
130-U as each of the names listed above is valid.  Should a lienholder
wish to update their name on their vehicle record, they will need to
submit a Form 130-U, provide a copy of the attached Certificate of
Amendment, surrender their current title, and pay the appropriate title
application fee.
